Chuck Yow joins Sbrocco International

Chuck Yow, a veteran of the fresh produce industry with close to 25 years of experience, is now the sales manager at Sbrocco International, a longtime receiver and distributor of imported fruit, headquartered in Mt. Laurel NJ.Chuck-Yow5270

"We are having a very solid grape season [out of] Chile and Peru," Yow told The Produce News Saturday, March 3, during the Southeast Produce Council's conference and expo in Tampa, FL. "We are starting with our imported apples and pears. Pears are just in, and apples should be in around mid-April."

He added, "We expect to grow significantly in the imported citrus area this year at Sbrocco."

Yow, 58, joined Sbrocco International in late November. He was most recently director of sales and business development at Capespan North America, where he spent four years. Prior to that, he had 20 years of experience at Chiquita and Sage Fruit Co.

Yow, 58, lives in the Philadelphia area.
