Tasteful Selections expands corporate team

Tasteful Selections has added Celeste Porter to its team as chief financial officer. In this role, Porter is accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company, including development of financial and operational strategies and metrics, enhancement and monitoring of control systems, and reporting of accurate financial results. Porter will directly oversee the accounting, finance, human resources, and information technology departments.Celeste-Porter

Porter joins the team from Gazelle Transportation LLC, where she served as the CFO and interim controller. Porter was also owner and principal consultant for her business, Breakthrough Financial Services based in Bakersfield, CA. With more than 20 years of experience in various capacities, Porter brings a diverse background to Tasteful Selections.

“I am excited to partner with the Tasteful Selections’ operations and farming teams to enhance costing methods, integrate financial and operating systems and provide best-in-class reporting with the use of BI tools and data science,” Porter said.

Porter is an advocate for automation and has experience launching full-scale ERP and other systems to strengthen infrastructure, sustain scaling operations and allow for real-time business insights. Porter is a Certified Management Accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Boston University. Porter is an active member of Women Leaders in Business, which fundraises and works to increase awareness and support for women and children centered issues in the community.
